Jewelry Care Guide
Care depends on the metal.

Different metals need different care. Gentle wear and careful storage help a piece last.
By metal
- 24K 9999 and fine silver 999 are soft—avoid pulling, squeezing, and heavy pressure.
- 925 silver and solid 18K, including solid rose gold, are harder. Still avoid hard knocks.
- Silver (999, 990, and 925) tarnishes from sulfur, damp, rubber, and cosmetics. Store it dry and apart. A silver polishing cloth is fine. 24K 9999 does not tarnish.
- On plated gold and plated rose gold, skip toothpaste, stiff brushes, and ultrasonic cleaning—they strip the plate. We do not replate worn plate.
Daily wear
- Avoid hard impacts and rubbing against other jewelry to prevent scratches or bending.
- Use both hands gently when fastening or removing—don’t yank with one hand.
- If a bracelet or necklace catches on clothing or a bag, untangle it first—don’t pull.
When to remove your piece
- Remove when bathing, in hot springs, swimming, exercising, or sleeping to avoid impact and chemicals.
- Take it off before heavy chores, lifting, or using household cleaners.
Keep away from chemicals
- Keep perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and cleaners away from the piece and its stones.
- Finish skincare and perfume first; put your jewelry on once everything is dry.
Pearls, crystals & stones
- Treat pearls and crystals gently; natural textures are normal, not defects.
- On stone-set pieces, avoid pressure or impact on the prongs to prevent lost stones.
Cleaning
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth for everyday shine.
- No stiff brushes, toothpaste, or harsh cleaners. Ask us before ultrasonic cleaning.
Storage
- When not wearing, store in the included pouch or a separate box—away from other jewelry that could tangle or scratch.
- Keep in a dry place; avoid prolonged sun exposure or damp environments.
